JJ Ruscella (Director/Producer)
J.J. Ruscella has directed and produced over forty individual productions both on stage and on screen, including the international stage premiere of Clive Barker's The Hellbound Heart upon which the movie HellRaiser was based. An innovator in live action simulation he founded the Interactive Performance Lab and has advised the US Army on counter terrorism simulation. Ruscella has his Master of Fine Arts from Rutgers University/Mason Gross School of the Arts and currently serves on the Faculty for the University of Central Florida. |
Dan Mackler (Director/Co-Producer)
After graduating with high honors from Dartmouth College, Dan worked in Russia for over five years as a freelance photographer, a producer for commercial production and an account director for McCann Erickson Advertising Agency. Dan has directed and produced dozens of films, documentaries, commercials and music videos. After receiving his MFA in film production from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts, Dan became the Director of the New York Film Academy at Disney in Orlando. His short film, Day of Father Frost, was recognized by director Spike Lee, who then hired Mr. Mackler to work as a consultant on Lee's, The 25th Hour. His work as a cinematographer, producer, and director has screened in multiple festivals including Slamdance, South by Southwest, Clermont Ferrand, and the Hampton's Int'l Film Festival. Currently Dan is the Director of the New York Film Academy at Universal Studios in Los Angeles. |
Bill Hill (Unit Production Manager/Producer)
Bill Hill is one of the industry's most recognized Line Producers. Bill has worked in nearly all the aspects of production management in over one hundred films and television shows, including The Abyss (James Cameron/20th Century Fox), The Jungle Book (Walt Disney Pictures), The Road to Wellville (Allan Parker/Columbia Tri-Star), The Hudsucker Proxy (Coen Bros/Warner Bros), Radioland Murders (Lucasfilm), Super Mario Bros (Buena Vista Pictures), Kermit's Swamp Years (Jim Henson Productions) Forces of Nature (Dreamworks SKG), and Instinct (Spyglass/Touchtone). His television credits include Sheena (Seasons 1 & 2), The Fugitive, Maximum Bob (Warner Bros TV), Shake, Rattle and Roll (CBS Mini-Series), Disciples (Viacom Pilot), Shadow Warriors (BSB/TNT Pilot), Steel Chariots (BSB/Disney/Fox TV Pilot), Whatever Happened to Angel (NBC Movie of the Week), and the Spike Channel series, Kill Point (LionsGate). |
